Feel free to follow favy!

Star Bar Ginza

In 2018, Star Bar Ginza made the list of Asia's top 50 bars, ranking in 43rd place! Its leather seats and beautiful counter make for a brilliant place to go have a drink and unwind. It's the kind of place you could easily go to by yourself or with a date of course.
Star Bar Ginza is located only about 2 minutes away from Ginza Itchome Station.
This bar is by far Japan's most famous bar.
Mr. Hisashi Kishi, the owner and bartender, at the age of 31 was the first Japanese person to ever become champion in a worldwide cocktail competition!
This highly popular bar is in many people's bucket list as the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and they make amazing cocktails!

Menu

The Star Bar in Ginza is the original bar as they now have branches in Yurakucho, Kyoto and another one in Ginza.

If you don't know what to order, you can always start with one of their signature cocktails or you can ask them to suggest something to your liking.
The cocktails aren't cheap and there is also a ¥1,000 cover charge, but that is what you would expect from such a high-end bar with master bartenders.

Some of their signature dishes are made with "Ninja Ice" or rare Japanese whiskey. The first being extremely clear cut ice which can be barely be seen and which melts slowly in your drink without affecting the taste.
You've probably never had drinks prepared so meticulously! I would suggest you start by trying one of the bartender's suggestions. Next, you should ask for your go-to cocktail so you could have it prepared it perfectly and you will definitely appreciate the care taken to make it. The Moscow Mule was like no other and was mind-blowing!

Drinks are around ¥1,500 each.
Cheers!

Finally...

Be prepared to have the best cocktails of your life at one of Japan's (and Asia's) best bars!
