Yakitori Imai is an authentic yakitori restaurant in Shibuya with a modern and cool interior. They serve all your classic yakitori dishes, but they also serve champagne and wine, as well as some of their creative original dishes!

This high-end yakitori restaurant in Jingumae, Shibuya, serves absolutely amazing yakitori. They are very particular about the ingredients they serve at the restaurant, as well as the sake and wine served as well.
The restaurant has a very beautiful interior with wooden counters. You wouldn't normally think of a yakitori restaurant as a good date spot, but this one is perfect. You can enjoy a glass of wine or champagne and order yakitori and vegetables a dish at a time so you can really take your time.
After placing your order, you can see the chefs prepare everything right before your eyes. The enticing smell of the chicken over the grill is sure to open your appetite!

Of course, you should start with the classics, which also happen to be the restaurant's specialty, yakitori. You can try different chicken parts grilled to perfection on a stick.

The grilled chicken thighs are incredibly tender and the seasoning is on point!
Although this is a yakitori restaurant, there are so many other dishes to discover. Such as the Japanese classic, 'oyakodon', which literally means parent and child because it is chicken served with eggs on top.

There are also many original dishes to try that you are bound to love, such as the grilled banana with goat cheese. A surprisingly delicious combination!
