Hippari Dako, Nikko's Famous Restaurant

A favorite among the travelers, Hippari Dako is the perfect place to take a break from sightseeing and have a cheap, delicious meal.

Nikko is a small town located in the northwestern part of Tochigi Prefecture, known for its luscious nature as well as many famous sightseeing spots, like the Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls and the Kinugawa Onsen, to name a few.
So you've been walking all day and now you're hungry! Just stop by Hippari Dako and fill your belly with delicious, cheap dishes!
This little restaurant serves everything from fried chicken, curry rice, meatballs, gyoza, roasted pork, to ramen! You won't be short of options!
They also have assorted dishes like yakitori & yakisoba (picture above) for just 900 yen.
Make your own "combo" and recharge your energy from all the sightseeing!
Above, ramen for 700 yen, chicken meatballs for 450 yen and chicken nuggets for 300 yen. What a bargain!
The restaurant is also super famous for its walls covered with patron's notes.
Besides the awesome food, cheap prices, and friendly English speaking staff, you get to leave your mark in Nikko too! Pretty cool, right?
