Yoshiya Shinjuku

Yoshiya is a restaurant from Kyoto with a branch in Shinjuku. They serve all kinds of delicious Japanese and Kyoto-style dishes. And a great plus is that they have Halal and vegetarian options so even more people can try it. These options are still too rare in Tokyo.

The restaurant is certified to be Halal by the Kyoto Council for Sharia and Halal Affairs.
The restaurant is located in the basement of the Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station.

When it comes to Halal dishes, there are some pretty tasty options!

One of the most popular dishes is 'karaage' (deep fried chicken). It's a Japanese staple and once you'll try it, you'll understand why it's so popular! The seasoning and crispiness is on point!
This dish is also Halal and so is the amazing soba and tempura combo!

If you rather not eat meat, you should have the meatless croquette. Croquettes are originally a French dish, but Japanese have made it their own and is now a dish often cooked at home. It's both conforting and delicious.
If you don't eat Halal, there are many classic Japanese dishes for you to try, such as the recommended 'unagi' (eel) dishes.

For lunch, there are many sets to choose from, from ¥980 to ¥1,900.

Dinner is from ¥1,380 to ¥5,000.

Whether you follow a Halal or vegetarian diet or you simply want to enjoy Kyoto-style tasty Japanese food, you should check out Yoshiya in Shinjuku, Tokyo!
