Saffron is a 5-minute walk from the East Exit of the Ikebukuro Station. This place uses herbs and spices straight from India so you can experience a truly authentic taste of the northern Indian cuisine!
You can have curry, tandoori chicken, huge nan bread and many other Indian specialties, all of it Halal. The atmosphere of the place is very relaxed. Sometimes, they organize live shows of classical or jazz music, belly dancing, and many other activities!

If you head to Saffron for lunch, there are so many tasty and affordable lunch sets to choose from.

The lunch sets are between ¥880 and ¥3,000. Most of them being around ¥1,000, but the latter is for their famous 'world hottest curry lunch.' You get a certificate if you're able to finish it!

The lunch sets almost all come with salad, rice or nan, curry and dessert. Quite a bang for your buck! Also, be prepared, the nan is huuuge!
The ladies' lunch is also a good deal, it comes with all the things mentionned above and one more curry bowl.

The Osama or Saffron special lunch come with tandoori chicken, seekh habab or chicken tikka on top of it all.
For dinner, you can order a la carte or one of the two courses. The courses are ¥3,500 and ¥4,500 and come with salad, chicken, curry, nan or rice and dessert. The nan choices include cheese, garlic, Kabli and chapati. The cheese nan is amazing!
For a really hearty dessert to top everything off (you might want to share), you can get the nan dessert which is served with ice cream, chocolate and condensed milk.
