Royal Host Tokyo

Royal Host Tokyo is a casual and affordable family restaurant with branches all over Japan. In fact, there are 51 branches in Tokyo alone!

They mostly serve Western cuisine or Japanese-style Western cuisine, but they also have "teishoku" (Japanese cuisine served as a set).
It has a comfortable interior where you can take your time and enjoy some nice food with a dessert and drink bar. A lot of people go there to catch with their friends without having to worry about time.

They have all sorts of delicious food so you can slowly enjoy your lunch or dinner and then have dessert.

For lunch or dinner, you can have a huge sirloin steak, with vegetables and rice.

There are also Japanese sets with Japanese black beef, grilled prawns, etc. The sets are quite hearty so be sure to bring an appetite.
On the lighter side, you can also get doria (a rice-based gratin dish), omurice (an omelette over rice with a demi-glace sauce) or club sandwiches.
There are some variations for the omurice dishes. For example, you can get omurice with a side of tempura prawn and a crab cream croquette.
You can also head over for breakfast or brunch. For a quick breakfast, you can have a Japanese breakfast with salmon, rice, salad and miso soup. You can also get toast, eggs, sausage and coffee.

For something heartier, you can get the brunch plate, which is breakfast, sausage, bacon, salad and pancakes or french toast. Now, that's what I call brunch!
The desserts are beautiful and great too! Depending on the period of the year, you can get some parfaits made with in-season ingredients. You can also get typically Japanese desserts with red beans and fruit. There are some healthy options too, like the acai and yogurt parfait. There's something for everyone.

Come check out Royal Host with your friends or family for a nice hearty dinner. There's bound to be one close to you.

I love travelling and discovering new cuisines. Japan has a panoply of local dishes to try. I also love yoga, coffee, reading, and cycling.
