Halal Sushi In Tokyo - 3 Restaurants You Should Try

Tokyo

There aren't many Halal sushi restaurants in Tokyo so if you're Muslim and would like to try the quintessential Japanese cuisine, you'll be glad to know these three places.

Feel free to follow favy!

Asakusa Sushi Ken

Asakusa Sushi Ken is extremely popular among Muslims in Tokyo because it was the first sushi restaurant offering an entirely Halal selection. On top of that, the fish is fresh, the location is great and the service is good. Lunch is from around ¥1,300, and dinner from ¥4,000. This is a must-go for sushi in Asakusa.

Itamae Sushi Ueno

With the aim of making sushi available to the greatest number of people, Itamae Sushi Ueno has released in 2018 a Muslim-friendly menu. Although they do not have an official Halal certification, the restaurant assures that they do not use alcohol or pork for the Muslim menu, and that the kitchen tools and the tableware are kept separate. You can enjoy some fine Edo style sushi there for a budget of around ¥2,000 to ¥5,000.

Japanese Restaurant Origami

Located in Asakusa, Origami is a restaurant of authentic Japanese cuisine where you can enjoy all kinds of Halal certified delicacies. There is halal sushi but also Japanese brand halal beef and all sorts of delicate kappo dishes. Their Halal desserts such as matcha ice cream and cakes are pretty popular too. Go there not just for the food, but also for the peaceful ambiance.
