Osaka

Looking for halal food at the Kansai Airport? Here are the three restaurants that are certified halal. One specializes in udon and the other two in soba. They also serve various other Japanese foods.

The Udon

This restaurant is certified by Japan Islamic Trust. It's an udon restaurant (thick wheat noodles) where you can have sets with tempura, Japanese curry, oyakodon (chicken and eggs on rice) and other delicious Japanese soul foods. Best of all, the taste is nice and the price is cheap! You can get a satisfying meal for about ¥1,000.

This restaurant is on the 2nd floor of Terminal 1.

Sojibo

This restaurant is similar to the one introduced previously but instead of udon, they specialize in soba, which are noodles made of buckwheat. Soba noodles, served hot or cold, go wonderfully well with tempura, which comes with a dipping sauce. You can get a set here for about ¥1,000. They also have other kinds of "washoku teishoku" (Japanese style sets) that are all halal.

The restaurant is on the third floor of terminal 1.

Oraga-soba

This is yet another cheap and good soba restaurant. It's certified halal as well. Located on the 3rd floor of the Aeroplaza.
