Solti Khaja Ghar (Shin-Okubo area)

The menu is filled with typical Nepali fare including momos, sukuti, and curry. For lunch, a student set is only ¥500! The store's sign says halal, but you'd be best to make sure that the dish you're ordering is halal, just to be on the safe side.

Bhet Ghat Restaurant, Bar, and Halal Food (Koiwa area)

Located a stone's throw away from Koiwa Station, this Nepali restaurant in East Tokyo serves delicious food at very affordable prices. Attached to the restaurant, there is a small shop selling halal food items. This is a great place to enjoy an authentic meal and pick up hard-to-find halal items at the same time. Although the restaurant doesn't seem to have an official halal certification, the store owner says that all items on the menu are halal. Yes!

Momo (Shin-Okubo area)

Located above a spice store in Shin-Okubo, this small restaurant is a popular spot. You can order from a large menu of Nepali specialties served with rice or chiura. You will need to come back several times to be able to taste the various delicious dishes available. Note: at time of writing, the beef served at Momo is not halal. Check with your server before ordering.
