When you're in Osaka you tend to go to more of touristy places such as Namba and Umeda, and you might find many different cafes, but not as unique as the ones below! There are lots and lots of brilliant cafes to visit in Osaka that not many people know. For more information, check the following places!

Usagi to Boku (うさぎとぼく)

Located just a 6-minute walk from Showamachi station, this place offers bunny themed dishes! How cute! Its cozy atmosphere makes it just right with their cute cafe latte. The owners are really nice, you'll definitely want to come back!

PENNENNENEMU (絵本と珈琲 ペンネンネネム green 大阪店)

PENNENNENEMU (Pen Nen Ne Ne Mu) has became super popular for its theme - picture books! Here you can have an amazing drinks and food that is inspired by picture books that you might have read as a kid, which makes you feel nostalgic! One of the popular picture books in Japan is called "Guri and Gura", and many people would want to try the tasty pancakes that appears in the book. And this cafe made our dreams to come true!
Due to its popularity, it is recommended to go there earlier than their opening time.
Around a 10 minute walk from Umeda station, so if you are in Osaka station, you should definitely stop by!

R・J CAFE (アールジェイカフェ)

Guess what. Their coffee cup is made of a cookie, which means edible, which means you can eat and drink at the same time. This original coffee is called "ECOPRESSO". Since it is popular, you might have to wait for a little, so be there early! Their cakes are also good too. Around a 10 minute walk from Tenmabashi station.
Warning: On Tuesday their open hours is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, so be careful!

JTRRD cafe (ジェイティードカフェ)

Around a 6-minute walk from Tenmabashi station, this cafe serves a colorful, artsy and photogenic smoothie! Their lunch menu is also colorful as well, so you should try that too. What's so special about this smoothie other than its aesthetic pleasantness is that they make original smoothie based on your favorite color!

ARABIQ(珈琲舎・書肆アラビク)

If you like to be surrounded by lots of books, and if you want to try something creative, this is where you should stop by! Just around a 3-minute walk from Nakazakicho station, their coffee is amazing, and their unique coffee called Maria Theresia is a must try drink. What makes it so special is the star-shaped toppings called Konpeitou (small sugar candy)!

Cocoo Cafe (コクウカフェ)

Cocoo Cafe is wildly popular in Osaka so you might have to queue to get in if you go during peak hours. This is absolutely the must-go cafe on a hot summer day because they serve the most amazing kakigori (shaved ice) dishes! Topped with real fruits, they are as beautiful as they are tasty. The best thing to get is quite arguably the strawberry brule shown above!
If you want a warm beverage, they've got you covered as well. Just look at this beautiful latte art!

Bar ISTA (バール イスタ)

Bar ISTA is a place where, you've guessed it, coffee is made by professional baristas with a passion for coffee. The young Fumiaki Nozato and Shinichi Tanaka fell in love with the trade and now they have as a goal to offer the best coffee in Osaka in a comfortable space that resembles a Spanish bar. The two gentlemen will make some of the cutest and intricate latte art you've probably ever seen. This is the place to go if you're a coffee snob! You won't be disappointed. Located at a 5-minute walk from the Honmachi Station.

Osaka might be well-known for its street food such as Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki, but there are more and more cafes that is very unique and artsy in Osaka, so keep updated!
