Tom & Jerry 80th Anniversary Exhibition in Ginza

The iconic duo will celebrate their 80th anniversary in 2020, and Matsuya Ginza is hosting the exhibition.

Tom and Jerry cartoon, created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, was first released in 1940 and quickly became massively popular, earning seven Academy Awards.
To celebrate their 80th anniversary, Japan is hosting the world’s first Tom and Jerry exhibition, called “Tom and Jerry-ten Cartoon no Tensai Kombi Hanna Barbera”.
The exhibition, open on April 17th, will run until May 6th at Matsuya Ginza’s event space, located on the 8th floor.

You'll be able to see original art, documents, and recreations of memorable scenes, special materials and additional contents preserved by the Warner Archive.
