Rubinaa by the Bay

Kanazawa has a great Indian restaurant called Rubinaa by the Bay. It is halal certified so you don't need to worry about anything you eat there. The food there is really authentic and you can have food that is not usually offered at other Japanese Indian restaurants. They always have many good fish dishes for instance and another good point is there a nice selection of Kulcha bread.

Swad

This is another delicious Indian restaurant that is run by a very hospitable owner. It's also very Muslim-friendly. Although they don't have an official certification, no beef, pork or alcohol is used in the restaurant, and all foods are said to be halal. The 30 kinds of curries are scrumptious and come with a huge piece of naan bread that you can reorder at no extra charge. Lunch sets are just ¥980. If you go for dinner, it shouldn't cost you much more than ¥2,000.

Marugame Seimen

This is a cheap and delicious udon noodle and tempura specializing restaurant. They have a halal meat menu so you'll know exactly what you can have. The way it works is that you order your bowl of udon noodles, which is just ¥290 to ¥510 depending on the size and type, then you can add some extra tempura toppings of either vegetables (¥130), prawn (¥150), and squid (¥110).
