Starting May 15th, 2019, the sweets store 'Sweet XO Good Grief' in Tokyo's Harajuku will begin selling bottles of pink and sky blue 'Unicorn Tears' for ¥700. When you shake the bottle, the "tears" sparkle and glitter (just like real unicorn tears!)

Fantasy fans and collectors of unicorn paraphernalia rejoice! Your dream of drinking the tears of this mythical beast can finally come true.

In addition to unicorn tears, Sweet XO also has some other wacky items on the menu.

Drinks served in baby bottles

Baby bottles filled with tea. ¥700
If the bottle of unicorn tears wasn't enough to quench your thirst, Sweet XO also offers various beverages in baby bottles. Yes, now's your chance to walk around the streets of Tokyo, sipping a tea or soda out of a baby bottle. It's a strange way to enjoy a beverage, that's for sure, but will undoubtedly make for some great SNS posts.

Poo-poo ice cream

I'm not sure how I feel about this one... ¥700
Have you ever looked at a chocolate soft serve ice cream cone and thought "huh, that reminds me of a curly poo"? Well, you're not the first one to think that, and Sweet XO decided to take that thought further than you ever would have. A 'Unchie-kun Soft Cream' is just ¥700, and comes served a toilet-shaped dish (yay!)

Sweet XO Good Grief

If any of the items mentioned here have sparked your appetite (or just your curiosity), then pop into Sweet XO Good Grief next time you're in Harajuku! The store also offers other various sweets, including their signature 'Frozen Popcorn,' so there's bound to be a strange food item to suit any taste!

Sweet XO is located on Takeshita Street, just 3 minutes from JR Harajuku Station. The store is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
I live in west Tokyo and spend most of my time thinking about food or going bouldering.
