Eight kinds of kushi katsu that come with a secret tare sauce

Eight kinds of kushi katsu
This is the main assortment platter of the course. It has, of course, the popular pork belly skewers, but also some red ginger and quail eggs.
The tare sauce goes incredibly well with this hot and very crispy kushi kastsu. The sauce contains various fruits and vegetables such as apples, tomatoes, onions, etc, and it's rather strong-tasting and dangerously addictive!

Be aware that you can only dip your skewer one time in the sauce, as it is reused by other patrons.

The okonomiyaki goes great with beer!

Okonomiyaki with pork and kimchi
This menu item is like a super savoury fluffy omelette with pork and kimchi. Served piping hot at your table, it goes well with a nice cold beer.
Chicken and vegetable stir fry
This healthy dish is made with lean chicken meat and a mix of vegetables that includes plenty of crispy bean sprouts. It's slightly spicy.
Stir fried soba with black pepper sauce
The peculiarity of this dish is the tingly black pepper after-taste. Also, the texture added by the crunchy bits of tempura is wonderful.

The best friend of the kushi katsu is... alcohol, of course!

Beer is a reliably good option, but there are plenty of other drinks on the menu.
Try whatever tickles your fancy with the all-you-can-drink course. They have 30 different drinks on the menu including highballs and sours. For those who don't drink alcohol, there are also some soft drinks and teas for you to enjoy.

Some palate-cleansing side dishes

The course has plenty of strong tasting foods packed with savoury umami, so when you want a change in taste, you can also enjoy some light-tasting vegetable-based side dishes such as chilled tomatoes and edamame, which are also included in the course.

For some cheap, delicious kushi katsu, Kushi Daore is the place to go

For just ¥2,880, you can enjoy a variety of kushi katsu along with many other tasty dishes. That would be a fair price alone but there's even free-flowing alcohol included! So next time you go to Shibuya, make sure to try this place out.
