Daikichi (天ぷら 大吉 なんば店)

Just a 3-minute walk from Namba station, Nankai Line, you may see people waiting in a long line. Daikichi originally opened in Sakai, and it is famous for the number of people lining up all the time during their open hours. The one in Namba is a sister branch.
What's more interesting about this place is that you will encounter numbers of shells on the floor, because people throw them away as they have miso soup.
Due to its popularity, if you are having a table seat, 90 minutes system applies. If you are sitting by the counter, there is no time limit.
Price is very reasonable! you can enjoy lunch from ¥1,000~1,999 and dinner from ¥2,000~2,999.

Numata (沼田)

This place offers very elegant yet delicious tempura. It may seem a little pricey, but it is actually reasonable to have that quality of tempura for just around ¥15,000~19,999. If you are looking for a nice dinner place, you should definitely go here. Just a 3-minute walk from the No.6 exit of Tenshinbashisuji Rokuchome station.

Ippou (一宝)

Featured on Michelin Guide, this is a luxury tempura restaurant. If you want to have an authentic tempura experience in Osaka, this is where you should go!
Just a few minutes walk from Higobashi station.

Yotaro (与太呂 本店)

Just a 2-minute walk from No.6 exit Kitahama station, this place offers reasonable tempura lunch! You can enjoy their tempura set for ¥2,500. You should also try their red sea bream rice too! With its history of being featured on Michelin Guide and their quality, no wonder they are popular.

Tsuchiya (旬菜天 つちや)

This place offers tempura kaiseki cuisine! This place was featured in the Michelin Guide, and their lunch is also affordable! If you are around Esaka, or Suita area, you should definitely stop by. Around a 15 minute walk from Esaka station.
