SALON BAKE & TEA, Shinjuku, Tokyo

'SALON BAKE & TEA' is a popular lifestyle shop and cafe inside Shinjuku's fashionable NEWoMan shopping center. The cafe is known for its stunning and Instagram-worthy parfaits and patisserie, which are not only beautiful but incredibly delicious!
This summer, the cafe is offering a spectacular one-of-a-kind peach shaved ice dessert that features fresh seasonal peaches! The dessert is a work of art and uses premium ingredients, so the price is slightly expensive, but the experience is definitely worth it!

Creating the Masterpiece of a Dessert

The creation of this one-of-a-kind dessert begins with a layer of crimson gelatin on the bottom of an artisan dish. Next, slices of fresh peach and aloe are layered on top to create a lovely balance.
A scoop of fresh peach ice cream is added in the center and is covered with a layer of fruity yogurt granita (Italian shaved ice).
Finally, a swirl of creamy peach espuma foam is added to the top, and edible flower petals, raspberries, and framboise are added for decoration and fragrance. The dish is finished off with an edible white chocolate butterfly perched on top!
The beautiful dish can be eaten as is, or a special framboise rose and lychee sauce can be added for an extra sensual experience.
The wonderful sourness of the raspberry framboise and delicate rose fragrance combines beautifully with the peach ice and foam, creating a unique sensory experience that you won't find elsewhere in Tokyo.

This fabulous dessert can only be found at SALON BAKE & TEA, located inside the NEWoMan shopping center in Shinjuku. Head out the southeast exit of JR Shinjuku station and you'll see the building right across the street! Happy Eating!
