Nakahigashi is a 2 Michelin star restaurant that features a counter surrounding the kitchen where master chef Nakahigashi prepares exquisite dishes as guests watch. The restaurant is focused on using the very best seasonal, local ingredients to make beautiful kaiseki dishes, and the chef visits the fields and forests where the produce comes from every day to get the very best. Whether dining at lunch or dinner, every guest will enjoy a course meal of dishes that change daily based on the ingredients that the chef chooses.

The atmosphere here is a bit different than a more traditional, private room kaiseki experience, but that is actually preferred by many customers. It's interesting to be able to watch the chef as he works and receive explanations of each dish as he serves it to you. This is truly a special restaurant that should be high on everyone's list!
