Qino's (Bunkyo-ku)

Qino's is an adorable cafe, 5 minutes walk from Myogadani station. The owner opened the cafe to offer authentic American style sandwiches and tarts which Japanese are generally not familiar with. The most popular menu item is their Reuben sandwich. The bread contains 10 kinds of grains, which adds more textures and flavours. The meaty pastrami, sour sauerkraut, spicy mustard, and mild cheese blend together perfectly.

Queens Steak & Burger (Shibuya)

At Queens you can have high-end authentic American steak or burgers with thick meat patties. The steaks made with top quality dry-aged beef are quite expensive (e.g. a huge T-Bone for 3-4 ppl is ¥12,000), but the burger sets are more resonably-priced (burger-fries set is ¥1,400). Also popular are their super thick onion rings that come with a house-made aurora sauce, and their smoked mashed potatoes which are a great accompaniment for steak.

Tableaux (Daikanyama)

In a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere, Tableaux serves new American cuisine under the direction of Chicago native Chef Rachel Dow. She's elaborated an authentic menu inspired by the rich food multiculturalism of America. The genre is called New American cuisine, and it will give you a whole new perspective on American cuisine! Dinner courses start at around ¥7,000.
