Which Thai Restaurants to Try in Shinjuku!

Thai food is flavourful and delicious. Not matter the time of day, or occasion, Thai is my go-to! It's a nice change if you need to try something different from Japanese food once in a while.

Feel free to follow favy!

Shinjuku

The night lights in Shinjuku.

Shinjuku has the biggest concentration of restaurants in all of Tokyo. Shinjuku is a must-visit area in Tokyo. Surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. Day or night, you will find whatever you're looking for.

Ban Thai

Right in Kabukicho and a few minutes from the Seibu Shinjuku station on the Seibu line. Ban Thai restaurant is very popular so you might have to queue a bit. The food is authentic and great, and the service is very friendly.
The menu has so much too choose from, but rest assured, there are no wrong choices. For a sure bet, go for the Pad thai! Course menus are between ‎¥2,500 and ‎¥3,500.

Khao San

In the basement of Lumine, this restaurant is unpretentious and serves authentic, good food! The prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a cheap fix of Thai food, this is the place to go!

Mango Tree Cafe

Mango Tree Cafe is also located in Shinjuku's Lumine. It's quite crowded during rush hour, so if possible, it's best to go outside peak times. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. You should try the curry!
The lunch course is less than ¥2,000 and includes an appetizer, a soup, a main dish, and dessert!

Baan Kirao

Baan Kirao is in Shinjuku nichome, the gay district of Tokyo. It is a very authentic and delicious restaurant, also it is relatively cheap. It is a very popular restaurant, so you might have to wait a bit.
The dinner course menu is around ¥4,000.

Keawjai Shinjuku

Keawjai is in the Kabukicho area, it is an area surrounded by bars, cinemas, and restaurants. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a cheap, authentic resto, this is it!

Finally...

There is so much to do and explore in Shinjuku. We hope you had fun exploring.
