Unforgettable Kaiseki Meal in Roppongi, Tokyo at 'Yoshizawa'

'Yoshizawa' (よし澤) in Roppongi Hills is the second location of a well-known Ginza kaiseki restaurant that has a Michelin Star. The food here is just as good, but it's much easier to get a reservation since the Roppongi location doesn't have a Michelin Star... Yet. If you're searching for an awesome kaiseki meal in Tokyo, Yoshizawa is a great option!

Feel free to follow favy!

Why Go?

Yoshizawa Roppongi Hills is the second location of a Michelin-Starred restaurant in Ginza. The cuisine served here is kaiseki, featuring the best ingredients of the current season prepared in a luxurious fashion that is beautiful to look at and to eat. All the little details here are impressive, and each dish has a unique character to it that makes the meal quite exciting.

The restaurant is fairly spacious, with a 10-seat counter and 4 private dining rooms, so it's perfect whether you're alone or with a large group. Anyone seeking an unforgettable kaiseki experience in Tokyo surely won't be disappointed by the awesome meal served here.

Dinner kaiseki courses are ¥16,800, ¥20,800, or 'omakase,' meaning the price will be dictated by the cost of whichever ingredients the chef chooses for that day. At lunchtime, 3 courses are available for ¥6,000, ¥9,000, and ¥16,800, or an 'Ebi Fry' (fried shrimp) meal is offered for ¥3,800. Any course is fantastic, but of course, the more expensive the course, the more elaborate your meal gets.

Access / Reservations

It's recommended that reservations are made at least one month in advance if you plan to eat here. As the preparation of the dishes begins well in advance of the meal, a strict cancellation policy is in place that denies a refund if a cancellation is made less than 3 days before the scheduled time.

The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the West Walk of the famed Roppongi Hills Shopping Tower.
I live in west Tokyo and spend most of my time thinking about food or going bouldering.
