The bar is listed at number 49 by 'World's 50 Best Bars' and has gained popularity in recent years thanks to a youtube series called 'Japan's Greatest Bartender.' Why Go?

Ben Fiddich is one of the top cocktail bars not just in Japan, but in the whole world! The owner, Hiroyasu Kayama, is so passionate about the art that he creates his own herbal infusions from plants grown at his family farm outside of Tokyo and distills his own liquor. It would literally be impossible to get the same fantastic and inventive drinks served here anywhere else in the world. Cocktail lovers will feel like a kid in a candy store when they see the amazing drinks that are created before their eyes. Check out the video:

This bar is quite pricey for Tokyo standards. Expect to pay close to ¥2,500 for a cocktail.

Reservations / Access

Due to extreme popularity, it's recommended to make a reservation to guarantee that you'll be able to get in. Reservations can only be made one day in advance. See the link below for assistance if you need help speaking Japanese.

The bar is located close to Shinjuku Station, on the 9th floor of the Yamatoyo building.
I live in west Tokyo and spend most of my time thinking about food or going bouldering.
