¥1,080 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at Sandogu in Tokyo (3 locations)

Kobeya is a popular bakery in Japan, and they have some restaurants where you can enjoy their baked goods instore.

Sandogu Inn Kobeya is one of those bakery/restaurants with three locations in Tokyo.

At those locations, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat breads and sandwiches for lunch for just ¥1,080. There is often a line of people in front of the restaurant 30 minutes before the buffet hours start at 11:00 AM. We went to the Sandogu Inn Kobeya near Tokyo station to try out the popular special.

The restaurant is located near Tokyo station (1-minute walk from the JR Chuo exit).
The buffet is offered every day of the week from 11 AM to 2 PM.
There are over 20 kinds of sweet and savoury pieces of bread and sandwiches offered so you're bound to find something that you like.
Fill your plate with whatever tickles your fancy. There are also some drinks available for free. You can have coffee, tea, Aomori apple juice and Satsuma mandarin juice just to name a few options. The day we went, there was also corn soup available.
As soon as platters run out, they get refilled with freshly baked goods baked at the restaurant.
There is also some potatoes and simple salads served at the buffet.
The katsusando (deep-fried pork sandwich) is the most popular item in the restaurant. Everything is cut into small pieces so you can have lots of variety.
A dessert plate is a necessary way to end your meal! The raisin bread here was particularly delicious.

If there is something you really like, you can always buy it from the bakery to bring back home.
They're always coming up with new things such as this bacon, cheese and potato toast, and with all the variety you won't get bored of this buffet so why not give it a try if next time you're in the Tokyo station area?
Japanese food culture enthusiast. Love to explore new areas and discover local specialties.
