You Can Pick Up These Japapese Eggs by Pinching the Yolk!

In Japan, there's a special brand of egg called 'Tsumande Goran' that has a yolk which can be picked up by pinching it with your fingers!

Feel free to follow favy!
Have you heard of tamago kake gohan (TKG for short)?
There's a farm called 'Akane Farm' that makes eggs specifically for tamago kake gohan that calls the eggs 'Tsumande Goran'(つまんでご卵). 'Tsumamu' means to pinch, and 'Goran' is a pun that combines words that mean 'try to do' and 'egg.' The name of these eggs, then, is an invitation to try to pinch the yolk!
You can literally pinch the yolk and lift it into the air without it breaking! Check out this video:
The egg yolks are apparently so durable thanks to the high nutrient content. The chickens who produce the eggs are free-range and eat a balanced and healthy diet that is conducive to the production of such high-quality eggs.
Tamago kake gohan is normally eaten with soy sauce to add flavor and umami, but the producer of these special eggs recommend trying it without any added seasonings! They say that the flavor and umami of the egg can stand on its own.
The eggs are available for purchase at local stores in Shizuoka prefecture, where the farm is located, or online. If you live in Japan and want to try out these awesome eggs for yourself, you can have them shipped right to your house!
I live in west Tokyo and spend most of my time thinking about food or going bouldering.
