Chronic Tacos is now in Ginza, Tokyo!
Craving some tasty affordable Mexican cuisine? Then you might be glad to know that Ginza now has its own Chronic Tacos restaurant!
Feel free to follow favy!
Chronic Tacos is a casual Mexican restaurant chain originally from America; it now has a location in Ginza for people of Tokyo to enjoy! Affordable Mexican cuisine in Tokyo is still quite rare so already this place has plenty of fans.
The 63-seat restaurant is the perfect place to get a tasty, healthy quick bite in Ginza in a laid-back modern decor.
Great quality fresh ingredients with vegetarian and gluten-free options
The way it works is that you choose what you want to have (tacos, burritos, tortillas, etc.), and you customize it exactly the way you want it. From the wrap to the fillings, you can choose everything.
Unlike other restaurants that use cheaper imported meat of inferior quality, Chronic Tacos uses only domestic meats.
Tortillas are ¥390. This one is made with a wheat tortilla, which gives a chewier texture. The pork is tender and juicy, and you could tell that the onions were fresh because of their crispiness and sweetness. Also, you can get some fragrant cilantro as a filling and some lime juice to add that special punchy Mexican taste.
This is a corn tortilla with some fried fish, cheddar cheese, and guacamole as the fillings.
A nice healthy, gluten-free choice!
The burritos at ¥900 are pretty big so if you go there with an appetite, they're a good choice.
And if you want something crispy and filling, try this taco bowl made with a deep-fried tortilla as the shell.
This is the first restaurant in Japan, but you can be sure that if it's a success, you'll see others open soon. Give it a try in Ginza!
