Shinjuku

For a fancy dinner in central Tokyo, you might want to try out FUGA located in Shinjuku. You can enjoy some course meals of modern Japanese cuisine that include sashimi and teppan wagyu.

Feel free to follow favy!

FUGA at Shinjuku's Prince Hotel

fuga1
FUGA is located on the 25th floor of the Prince Hotel, which is connected directly to the Seibu Shinjuku station. It's a dining bar that serves modern Japanese cuisine.
fuga2
The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect with the panoramic night view of downtown Tokyo.

Course meal

fuga3
The course meal begins with the simplest small serving of delectable dashi broth made with kombu seaweed from Hokkaido.
fuga4
Next, you get served some tuna sashimi and some white flesh fish sashimi. They're served on a bed of ice to keep them extra fresh, and you enjoy them with two different kinds of soy sauce.
fuga5
The course continues with a piece of nigiri sushi with a tender beef slice and grated daikon radish as toppings.
fuga6
This exquisite soup is made with soft roe and pieces of codfish. It's quite rich and packed with delicious oceanic savouriness.
fuga7
And here is the piece the resistance! A perfectly cooked piece of wagyu beef with some vegetables. It comes with three different condiments (wasabi, daikon, and rock salt) to change the taste as you eat it.
fuga8
They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks too. For anything meaty, you won't go wrong with a glass of premium malts Suntory beer!

In closing...

FUGA is a nice, chick restaurant conveniently located in Shinjuku. It's a good venue for a date, business meeting, or just any special occasion.
