All-you-can-eat buffets in Shinjuku you need to know about

Noka no Daidokoro

Get your dose of vitamins at this vegetable-centric buffet in Shinjuku Sanchome. Noka no Daidokoro is particularly popular among vegetarians because of its superb salad bar buffet with so much variety and because of the freshness of the domestic ingredients, but the menu is not exclusively vegetarian. The lunch buffet is particularly a good deal at ¥1,580 on weekdays and ¥1,780 for 60 minutes.

Glass Court

This is the buffet of the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo's restaurant called Glass Court. You can enjoy western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and Japanese cuisine. According to many online reviews, it's one of the best there is in Shinjuku. The price for the buffet for adults is ¥4,300 on weekdays and ¥4,800 on weekends for lunch, and at ¥6,000 on weekdays and ¥7,000 on weekdays for dinner.

Located at a 5-min walk from the west exit of Shinjuku station.

Takano Fruit Bar

Takano is a fruit-specializing shop of very long standing in Shinjuku. It made a name for itself by serving dishes that are made from Japan's best seasonal fruits. They have a fruit parlor and a fruit bar in the same building. The fruit parlor is where you can have some ¥2,000 gorgeous fruit parfaits, and the fruit bar is where you can enjoy a ¥2,700 buffet which includes all-you-can-eat fruits, other desserts and savoury dishes. You have to try their classic fruit and cream sandwich!

Kizuna Sushi

Kizuna Sushi in Kabukicho is a great place for all-you-can-eat sushi! It costs about ¥4,000 per person, which might seem a bit expensive but the price is very good considering that you can order some nigiri sushi with expensive toppings such as ikura (salmon roe) and uni (sea urchin). You can also add an all-you-can-drink option to your meal. They serve many kinds of Japanese alcohols (shochu, sake, cocktails) that go well with sushi.

Marble Lounge (Hilton Tokyo)

The Hilton's Marble Lounge is one of the best in the area, especially if you love sweets. They have an impressive dessert buffet developed by world-class patissiers (sweets buffet is served between 14:30 and 17:30). It's around ¥4,000 and the theme changes periodically.

You can also enjoy their breakfast/brunch and lunch buffets (around ¥4,000), and dinner time (around ¥7,500).

The dinner buffet's signature dishes are crab legs and teppanyaki beef. The menu changes with the season, so you get some of the western and Japanese foods made from top quality seasonal ingredients.
