Here are five well-known coffee shops and cafes in Iidabashi that are totally worth the try, either for their unique coffee and sweets or for their great atmosphere.

For really nice and flavourful single-origin coffee, you should give coffee mafia a try. A regular size coffee is just ¥240, and they have a deluxe selection that are sold for about ¥500.

If you work or live in the area, you might also want to consider getting a monthly all-you-can-drink coffee subscription with them. It costs just ¥3,000 per month, and you can unsubscribe any time too.

The shop is small but they have a few tables. They also serve some smoothies, sweets and savoury meals for about ¥800.

Le Coin Vert

Le Coin Vert is a lovely cake and coffee shop on the Kagurazaka side of the river. It takes about a 3-minute walk to get there from Iidabashi station.

You can enjoy there some beautiful creations by French pastry chef Patrick Lemesle. Cakes are about ¥500 apiece.

If the weather is nice, you should definitely have your cake and coffee on their terrace!

Panis da Vinci

This is a very good bread shop in the area where you can eat in-store and enjoy good coffee as well.

The name comes from Leonardo da Vinci because the concept is to constantly strive to create new things. So you can enjoy some original breads there, both savoury and sweet.

Prices are about ¥300 apiece.

Chunsuitang

Bubble tea in Japan is extremely popular at the moment. For a place serving authentic Taiwanese ones in gigantic sizes, along with delicious Taiwanese dessert, you might want to check this place out. The bubble teas come in all kinds of flavours including matcha-soy milk, jasmine tea, and peach. They also serve hot beverages with tapioca pearls, which is kind of rare in Tokyo.

If you want something for lunch, they have a good selection of Taiwanese noodles too.

Canal Cafe

There is a restaurant that you can enjoy the cherry blossom view in the spring from terrace seats along the river, and this restaurant is called CANAL CAFE.

They have a variety of dishes such as homemade pizza, pastas, and grilled meat. During the cherry blossom season, they have a hanami lunch, which is a lunch dish using seasonal spring vegetables and other food that matches well with the beautiful cherry blossom landscape.
