King George Cafe

The go-to restaurant for a quick satisfying meal in Tokyo is the ramen joint you find everywhere.
It's extremely hard to compete with the ¥1,000 MSG-packed ramen bowls that are just so incredibly addictive, but in the Daikanyama neighborhood of Tokyo, things have been different lately thanks to a local woman running a cafe called King George serving stunningly beautiful, tasty, and filling sandwiches.

You just have to do a quick search on Japanese social media to realize how much this place is on fire! Have you ever seen such Instagramable sandwiches?!

She uses 11 different kinds of quality seasonal vegetables to make the sandwich pictured here. Each one is packed a whopping 450g (1 pound) of veggies. There are some vegetarian and meat options.
Forget about artificial flavor enhancers used virtually everywhere else in Japan, nothing can compare to the natural taste of quality ingredients. This is pretty much the online consensus of the countless rave reviews.

To complement the guilt-free satisfying sandwiches, you can even go supreme by adding a luscious fruit smoothie to your order.

And as if the cafe wasn't nice enough, it has this unexpected jaw-dropping roof-top terrace!!! You don't see many of these in central Tokyo!
Who wants to go eat in the run-of-the-mill smoky Japanese joint after seeing this?
