Can You Handle Them? 6 Craziest Giant Parfait You Should Try in Tokyo!!

For those of you all who love to eat something sweet, here is a list of places you can eat giant Japanese parfait in Tokyo! These places would definitely fulfill your craving. Make sure not to go there alone, unless you are big eaters.

Feel free to follow favy!

Osama to Strawberry (王様とストロベリー)

A retro-cafe located 2 minutes walk from Musashi-Koyama station serves a crazy parfait.

The "King Parfait" (2800 yen) is as high as 60cm and as heavy as 3.5kg!!!!! Have you ever seen such a giant parfait in your life? It's made of LOTS OF ice cream, cereals, and your choice of sauce (chocolate, strawberry, kiwi, lemon. raspberry, or blueberry). I recommend you to share it with like 4-6 people.

CHELSEA CAFE (チェルシーカフェ)

Convenient location to visit, located at one of the malls in Shibuya called "Shibuya Markcity".

Their special parfait is "Jumbo chocolate banana parfait" (1080 yen) that comes in a gaint jar! It's not only big but also tastes good. It has chocolate and banana ice cream, fresh bananas, cereals, and Ghirardelli's chocolate hot fadge. There is no way that they aren't good.

Sakura Cafe (さくらCafe)

Sakura Cafe is a Japanese-style cafe with nice atmosphere and decoration. Since located near the foot of Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in the world, they serve Skytree-shaped parfaits.

They have two flavors, Iki (matcha) and Miyabi (berries & yogurt), both 1800 yen. They are as high as 63.4cm, just the 1/1000 height of Tokyo Skytree! Having many layers made of fruits, ice cream, sponge, panna cotta, and so on, it is so fun to dig the parfait with spoon.

Coffee Seibu (珈琲西武)

This cafe has a long history and nostalgic atmosphere, located within 5mins from Shinjuku station.

They serves several kinds of big parfaits, but I recommend you to try "prin a la mode" (1100 yen). Prin a la mode is a western influenced Japanese dessert made of Japanese pudding and some toppings on it. Usually it's small, but Coffee Seibu offers a big one with silky pudding, ice cream, and fruits!

Shakey's

Shakey's is a chain restaurant you can find in several locations in Tokyo such as Shibuya and Shinjuku.

This restaurant is well known for its pazza buffet, but also offers a giant parfait (1800 yen). It comes in a big jug stuffed with LOTS OF ice cream, cereals, fruits, whipped cream, and so on. Make sure to share with someone.

A Hawaiian restaurant in Shinjuku, 5 mins walk away from Shinjuku station, has nice decoration and atmosphere that make you feel like you are in Hawaii.

Their "Big parfait" (2980 yen) looks cute having some layers of ingredients and topped with flowers and fruits, but it's way bigger than a pineapple... Sharing it with 6-8 people is recommended unless you are craving for lots of sugar. The restaurant have the Hawaiian dancing show at 19:30 every night that are also worth watching!
