Recently, sandwiches are becoming very popular in Tokyo and there are many sandwich shops opening with amazingly delicious sandwiches. This article will introduce different types of insta-worthy sandwiches in Tokyo!

The Most Instaworthy Sandwiches: King George

King George is a sandwich store located in Daikanyama. It is popular on instagram, for the very thick and voluminous look of the sandwich. They will toast your bread after they get an order, so you can have freshly toasted sandwiches! Some types of sandwiches they have on the menu are turkey sandwich, honey mustard, Mexican chicken, and also the vegetarian sandwich!

World Gourmet Sandwiches:The Earl Tokyo

The Earl Tokyo is located near Akasaka station, and you can enjoy world gourmet sandwiches here! Some of the sandwiches have names of famous locations in the world, such as Saigon, Bangkok, Paris and America. You can feel like you are in a different country by eating at this sandwich store in Tokyo!
They also do delivery and catering services so it is perfect for home gatherings too!

Egg Sandwiches: Camelback Sandwich & Espresso

This store is located 5 minutes away from Yoyogi-Kouen station. They serve delicious coffee and sandwiches here, but they are very famous for the sushi-style egg sandwich, as it is made by a former sushi chef. The chef is also a barista, so his coffees and lattes are very good too.

Mozzarella Sandwiches: Mmmozza

Mmmozza is sandwich store that just opened last March, and is located 3 minutes away from Harajuku station. It is a sandwich store originated in the streets of Paris, but they serve Italian-style sandwiches using fresh mozzarella cheese. They have prosciutto sandwiches, vegetarian sandwiches, and many other types. Buon appetito!

Fresh Fruit Sandwiches: Sembikiya

Sembikiya is a famous fruit shop and parlor that sells and serves the most fresh fruits of the season. Their main store is located in Ginza, and you can enjoy various fruit parfaits, fruit cakes, as well as these fruit sandwiches. The fruit sandwiches include fresh fruits with sweet whipped cream sandwiched with bread. Although a bit pricey, it is worth giving a try!
