Craving some desserts? Maybe cupcakes? Cupcakes are not so commonly eaten in Japan, so I will introduce to you some of the best and most adorable cupcakes that you can find in Tokyo! They are perfect for gifts and presents too!

Magnolia Bakery

Magnolia Bakery is known as the cupcake store that is in the film, "Sex and the City" and is originated in New York, USA. They have one store located in Japan, in Omotesando, and is popular among locals and tourists!
They have the traditional vanilla cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, etc, but,this store also incorporates the Japanese culture by making seasonal cupcakes such as the sakura cupcake that can only be eaten at this store!

Lola's Cupcakes

LOLA's cupcakes is a cupcake store from London, and the Harajuku store is located 2 minutes away from Harajuku station, on the 2nd floor of Cascade Harajuku. They also have another store in Roppongi Hills. Traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet are sold, as well as Japanese flavors such as matcha! Also, you can order message cupcakes or image cupcakes that you can give to your families and friends on special occasions!

N.Y Cupcakes

N.Y. cupcakes is located 3 minutes away from Shimokitazawa station. It is a Japanese cupcake store serving American style cupcakes, using domestically transported butter and other fresh ingredients. They have a variety of types of cupcakes including cream cupcakes, dipped chocolate cupcakes, and muffin cupcakes. They have matcha, strawberry, banana caramel, mango lemon, and many other flavors that are all very cutely decorated. These cupcakes are often used as gifts and also used in weddings!

Monarch of London

Monarch of London is an English cupcake brand, and the Shibuya store is located inside Hikarie, so it can be directly accessed from Shibuya station. The chef aims to make desserts that are "too beautiful to eat" and views his desserts as his artworks. Some flavors include, classic vanilla, mint chocolate chip and white chocolate coconut. They also sell assortments of cupcakes, such as the "very vanilla collection" or the "happiness in a box collection," and may be good to buy as a gift or to bring to parties!

Bellas Cupcakes

Bellas Cupcakes is a small cupcake store located 8 minutes away from Shirokane Takanawa station. This store started with one English woman wanting to make English-style cupcakes in Japan. You can either purchase the assorted selections, gift boxes, or customize your own cupcakes. You cannot eat at the store, as the cupcakes are mainly made for events, weddings, gatherings, and other special occasions. The chef's skilled sugar crafting is amazing, and the cupakes she makes are beautiful.
