Torisoba Sanpoichi

Located in the back alley just about a 5-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station is the popular restaurant serving chicken based ramen known only to a few. You can enjoy chicken based ramen that has no bad scent and is full of umami. Their ramen is of course delicious but their tsukesoba is also highly recommended!

Kageyama Takadanobaba

The famous restaurant for toripaitan (chicken based soup ramen) in Jiyugaoka also has a store in Takadanobaba. The rich chicken soup has viscosity and is delicious to the last drop! Check out with your own tongue the ramen that won first place in the toripaitan category of a ramen award.

Takaryu Takadanobaba

A 6-minute walk from Waseda Exit of Takadanobaba Station. Takaryu is a ramen restaurant in Takadanobaba that always ranks in the top. Their main soup is made from chicken and dried sardines and their bright, golden soup stirs up appetite. This is a must for those who like light, salt ramen.

Menya Musashi Takatora

A minute walk from Takadanobaba Station, this restaurant is located alongside the guardrail after walking across the pedestrian crossing. Menya Musashi Takatora is an affiliated enterprise of Menya Musashi, a name anyone knows in the ramen world. If you want to eat a fulfilling bowl of seafood based tonkotsu ramen in Takadanobaba, which is now becoming one of the main flavors, this is the place to go!

Yakimen Tsurugi

A 4-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station. It is a ramen restaurant that suddenly opened in 2011 and serves new styles of ramen.
After boiling the noodles, it is then placed on an iron plate. The noodles are then placed in soup. This “yakimen” is an original bowl that can only be eaten here. The noodles that are often picked up by the media, has a crunchy and chewy texture. Their soup is a rich tonkotsu and potato vegetable soup. Enjoy their mild but rich bowl.

Ore no Sora

A minute walk from the Toyama Exit of Takadanobaba Station.
Their fine soup that has condensed every drop of umami from seafood and pork and their noodles that has body is the golden combination. This restaurant has continued to be in business for over 10 years in the hot spot of Takadanobaba that often appears on TV.

Watanabe

A 5-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station in the Waseda direction.
It is a ramen restaurant located in the backstreet with a traditional Japanese restaurant-like appearance. Their ramen made from high quality noodles, soup, and ingredients are the ramen for adults. It is recommended for those who would like to have a bowl of ramen one grade higher, different from the usual.

Garasha

This restaurant is located in the middle of the stations of Takadanobaba, Waseda, and Nishi-waseda. Their mild and not heavy chicken based ramen will make you addicted once you have tried it. They offer free additional helpings of noodles as well as toppings which is why it is popular among students of Waseda University.
