Foodie city Osaka has lots of restaurants that offer various cuisines, and of course they have great numbers of delicious Indian restaurants! Check the following places if you are looking for an exclusive Indian cuisine experience.

Bindu

Located on the 30th floor of Umeda Hankyu Grand Building, this place serves authentic Indian cuisine! With Indian music playing in the background, you can enjoy various food including tandoori chicken that uses 36 spices, variety of naan, and side dishes including samosa, egg pakora. You can also choose the level of spiciness for curry. They also have a buffet for ¥3,800, and their lunch set is available at a reasonable price, around ¥1,000~2,000.
Just around a 2 minute walk from Umeda station.

ARUNA

If you have never tried Indian food before, this is a perfect place to start your adventure! Just a 2 minute walk from Subway Midosuji Line, Umeda station, this place serves around 30 different kinds of curry. You can enjoy delicious Indian food for around ¥1,000~3,000.

Ashoka

If you think of Indian cuisine, you might think of Indian curry and naan first, but they have so much more to offer! What they offer is a variety of authentic Indian cuisine in a luxurious atmosphere, with a great value! Its cozy atmosphere makes it easier for you to go in by yourself too! Their lunch menu is available around ¥1,200. Around a 5 minute walk from Umeda station.

Banjara

Just a 3 minute walk from Umeda station, this place also offer traditional Indian food! They use local ingredients from India, which makes you feel like you are travelling in India. With their comfortable atmosphere, you can definitely have a great Indian food experience! They also have lots of wine and beer too, so it is perfect place to stop by for a night out. Despite their luxurious taste, they offer their food for around ¥1,000~3000, which is a great deal!

Shama

If you are looking for a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Osaka, you should try this place! Their lunch set is available from ¥750, and all of their food is vegetarian. They have lots of curry options, sandwiches, salad, tandoor soy tikka, potato based alu sheesh kabab, samosa, paneer pakora...etc!
Just a few minute walk from Shinsaibashi and Yotsubashi station.
