Hoshino Coffee

There are several refined looking chain cafes in Japan, and Hoshino Coffee is one of them. Hoshino Coffee is a cafe where they serve hand-drip coffee with its original desserts and dishes. Some of you may have seen it if you have ever been to Singapore, but other than that, they only have stores in Japan. If you are looking for a casual yet little luxurious cafe experience, try this place, because you will love it.

Hoshino Coffee opened its first store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and ever since then they have been serving hand-drip coffee!

Menu

Their "Souffle Pancake" is probably the most popular menu at Hoshino Coffee. You can make it double or single slice, and its fluffiness is what makes everyone want to come back and eat again.
They also have seasonal flavors, and for summer they usually have green tea flavored Souffle Pancake with mochi, red bean, chestnut and matcha ice cream on top.
Seeing chestnut pancakes at Hoshino is a sure sign that fall has arrived. Hard to resist their Mont Blanc-like topping!
Their Souffle Doria, a rice casserole, is also popular! You might have tried normal rice casserole before, but was it fluffy?
There is a popular food culture called "morning" in Japan, where people get to eat a toast and boiled egg for only paying the price of a cup of coffee. This food culture was originated in Nagoya, Aichi and it is only offered at these casual Japanese cafes called Kissaten.
Of course, their coffee is what they are really famous for. Their hand-drip coffee tastes amazing, and they also offer various drink menu such as iced coffee, iced tea float and coffee float.

Find the store near you and try their refined coffee and pancakes!

The link below will take you to their official website, however, they only have Japanese version available. You can check the store location by clicking "店舗情報".
