Enjoy A Unique Cafe Experience At Cat Cafes In Tokyo!

Backpacking or travelling solo can be fun, but it can be lonely at times. If you're visiting Japan on your own and feeling lonely, making a visit to a cat cafe may swipe away your loneliness! This article will introduce several cat cafes in Tokyo!

Calico (Shinjuku)

This cat cafe is located 8 minutes away from Shinjuku station. There are more that 50 adorable cats waiting to meet you! You can have a relaxing time with your favorite cat in a nice, spacious atmosphere.

The price is ¥1000 for one hour, ¥1300 for 1.5 hours, ¥1500 for 2 hours, ¥2000 for 3 hours and ¥2500 for a free time plan.


They also have cakes for ¥300, pasta for ¥500, and many hot and cold drinks to enjoy.
You can also feed the cat with chicken meat for ¥300 and enjoy eating a meal together!

Neko Cafe Monta (Asakusa)

This cat cafe has 10 cats that you can play with!

They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. They will serve you freshly roasted coffee, and other tasty lattes priced between ¥380~ ¥530. They also have sundaes, cakes pancakes, and pasta that is all less than ¥700.
You can order food for the cats too!

Neko No Iru Kyukeijyo 299 (Ikebukuro)

Cat cafes are usually pretty small, but this store is 4 times bigger than the average size of cat cafes. It is not just big, but the comfortable couches make your cat cafe experience even more relaxing and soothing. During the summer, they have tatami seats, and kotatsu seats in the winter to enjoy the traditional Japanese interior. Moreover, they have computer desks for people who want to work, and bed seats for people who want to sleep and snuggle with the cats.

You can choose a quick 10 minute plan, which is only ¥200, or a free time plan of ¥2000 (¥3500 during weekends). Although they do not have a food menu, you can pay ¥350 for a free drink plan.

Temari No Ouchi (Kichijoji)

Temari No Ouchi is a cat cafe located 5 minutes away from Kichijoji station, and the "house" will make you feel like you are in a fairy tale. There are 33 cats in the cafe, with many unique and rare cate breeds! They have many events for the cats that is just too cute!!
It is only ¥1200 during weekdays and ¥1600 during weekends with no time limit or extra fees.

They have coffee, lattes, tea, smoothies, soda and also alcohol such as beer and cocktails! For those who want to have a proper meal, you can order curry rice, beef stroganof, and many others. They also have homemade cakes and parfaits in the menu!
