In Kobe, there is an area of preserved ijinkan (western-style residences), which was built after Kobe became a treaty port in 1869.

Dazaifu Tenmangu is a shrine built over the grave of the God of calligraphy or literature, Michizane Sugawara. Many students pray here before their school entrance exams.

Starbucks is located on the road that leads to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. This store was built with a concept of enriching the traditional and the modern, and this concept is expressed through the woven cedar woods. As it is located close to the shrine, it is a great place to rest after visiting the shrine!
