Shiroi Koibito (白い恋人)

Shiroi Koibito, which literally means white lover, is a cookie manufactured by famous Japanese confectionery maker Ishiya Seika in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It is also called Ishiya cookies and most people buy them as a souvenir when they visit Hokkaido.

It consists of white chocolate sandwiched between langue de chat, a french-style cookie. The langue de chat is baked thinly, which creates very light and crispy texture, and easily melts in your mouth. The rich white chocolate is made only for Shiroi Koibito to create a great combination of langue de chat and the chocolate.
