Kyo Aji, An Exclusive Japanese Restaurant in Tokyo That Will Only Let You in Under One Condition!

If you're looking for an exclusive restaurant experience in Tokyo, Kyo Aji is the place to go...if you're able to get in! It is said that some people have offered the owner important sums of money to get into the restaurant, but the owner only lets customers make a reservation under one condition. Kyo Aji 京味

The chef's father was also a chef, and was said to be one of the best in Kyoto! "Kyo Aji" means a taste of Kyoto and it is said to be one of the best "kaiseki" (Japanese course cuisine) restaurants in Tokyo.

In fact, Kenichiro Nishi(the chef and owner) received three Michelin stars for his impeccable cuisine. This tiny resto only has 20 seats and it is often full.

Menu

There is only one course menu available at the resto, and it varies according to the seasons and what is available at the market.

But keep in mind that a course menu is around 37,000-45,000 YEN. Rendering it an even more exclusive experience!

Reservation

You can call the number below to make a reservation, but this restaurant has a very exclusive system!
Since the restaurant is wildly popular, in order to make a reservation, you have to be taken by a regular first!
This means that first-time customers cannot make a reservation!!
But you can still ask your hotel concierge to see if there's a loophole somewhere!
