PALETAS frozen fruit bar is a popular ice candy store in Japan. It became really popular because of the appearance of the ice candies that they offer! Its first store opened in Kamakura, Kanagawa in 2013. Now they have stores in Tokyo and Osaka!

Their colorful ice candies are displayed in a case. They have around 25 kinds of flavors. Their ice candies use organic ingredients and fresh fruits, and they use the latest technique where it keeps fruits really fresh, which makes their ice candies even more delicious!

You can get overwhelmed with the numbers of flavor options you can choose from, but no matter what you'll try, it's bound to be great! They have about 25 flavors in total, and they always have limited edition flavors that uses seasonal fruits.

Their number one popular flavor is called "Mix East". It has kiwi, orange, pineapple, apple and grapefruits.
If you love matcha, try "Kuri-Matcha"! It consists of green tea, red bean and chestnut!

Their Japanese themed flavor include black sesame pineapple flavor! This is only available at the Kamakura store.
They also have brulee style ice candies too! However, you cannot take out brulee style ice candies, and it is only available at stores except Sakuragicho branch. They also have ice candies that contains cakes like cheesecake and mont blanc!
Aside from yogurt based, gelato based and fruit juice based ice candies, they also have vegetable flavors! The one in the photo is "Tomato & Basilico", it consists of tomato juice, tomatoes, lemons and basil.
If you like to have a little special ice candy experience, try their liquor based ice candies! Their "White Sangria" is a must-try!

They also have a cafe at Tokyo Midtown, and this is the only cafe that PALETAS has! Here they offer fruit tart bar! It is only available at Tokyo Midtown.
