Blue Bottle Coffee is a coffee chain shop that originated in Oakland, California. It was a small shop located in a local area, but as they served the finest coffee called "third wave of coffee", using innovative technology of drip brewing and selected coffee beans, they soon got very popular and spread all over the state, and then in New York and Washington D.C.

The reason of the popularity is of course the great taste of coffee. Every cup of coffee is brewed for every customers in front of their eyes. So it takes longer, but tastes much better and more flavorful. They have got a lot of enthusiastic supporters who only drink Blue Bottle's coffee.

There are six shops in Tokyo - Aoyama, Nakameguro, Shinagawa, Kiyosumi, Roppongi, and Shinjuku. You can see each location's address on the official website. All shops have an amazing atmosphere with simple and spacious interior. You can relax and enjoy your cup of coffee in the shop filled with a nice smell of coffee, or on the terrace under the sun.

Menu

The regular drip coffee is 450 yen. They also offer some espresso type coffee, like cafe latte (520 yen).
Their waffle is also popular. They're nice and crispy on the outside.
They have other desserts and savories like cookies and muffins.
Each shop has different food menu. At Aoyama location, you can have these light meals like sandwiches using organic ingredients.
