This store is famous for the terrace seats right above the Kamogawa River. The terrace seats are called "kawadoko," which means place at the river, and is a dining concept involving eating atop water during the summer season. This kawadoko is only open from May to September!

Kyoto Karasuma Rokkaku

The hexagonal main hall called Rokkakudo can be clearly viewed through the glass walls of this store. Some of the interiors are hexagon-shaped and the Kimono tapestries are changed every season.

LAQUE Shijyokarasuma

This Starbucks store located inside the shopping mall LAQUE is one of the most spacious Starbucks stores in Kyoto!

They have 80 seats in total, with nice sofa seats as well as large table seats. Compared to other small and crowded Starbucks stores, this store is a lot more spacious and less crowded.
