Wondering Where To Eat In Harajuku, Tokyo? Check Out These Places!

Harajuku

Harajuku is a must-go to tourist spot in Tokyo. From eccentric fashion, to high-end fashion, you can find pretty much what you're looking for. But it is also a great place to buy sweets, especially crepes! Before having dessert though, let's eat something a little more consistent, here are the must-try restos in Harajuku...enjoy!

Feel free to follow favy!

Harajuku Gyoza-ro

Right by Meijjingu-Mae station, this hole in the wall serves simple, yet delicious gyoza. This place is unpretentious and authentic; there are two types of gyoza to choose from: steamed or fried. For a few more coins, get a beer, it's the perfect accompaniment! Some say they're the best dumplings not only in Tokyo, but in Japan!

Deux Ex Machina

Deux Ex Machina is a very cool space with a gallery, and a retail space. They are located about 7 minutes by foot from Meijijingu-Mae station, or about 10 minutes from Gaienmae station.
They serve coffee and cakes until the evening, and then it becomes a bar!
You should try their pulled pork sandwich, it comes with fries, salad and pickes (1,050 YEN).
Or a Mocha and Marshmallow sandwich if you're craving something sweet!

The Great Burger

Located halfway between Harajuku station and Shibuya station, this burger joint is very popular, and so expect to find a long queue when you get there! But trust me, it's worth the wait! The interior is reminiscent of an American deli, and you'll feel transported to another time and place. You should try the cheeseburger!

Wolfgang Puck Express Harajuku

If you're looking for some good Western food, this place is it. It's close to Harajuku station, near Yoyogi Park. You should definitely try the pizza or the steaks!

Chiles Mexican Grill Harajuku

Between Harajuku station and Meijijingu-Mae station, this tiny restaurant is not only cute, but delish! They have an English menu and also English speaking staff, which can be quite helpful! They also have vegetarian and vegan options, so you can go with a bunch of friends, and everyone would still find what they're looking for! You should try the burritos!

Finally...

While you're in Harajuku, you should definitely try the crepes! They're famous for a reason!
