Ramen Square: Where The Battle For The Best Ramen Takes Place In Tachikawa!
Ramen Square is a popular place for ramen lovers in western Tokyo. It comprises 7 popular ramen shops battling it out to be recognised as the best ramen joint in town!

Ramen Square
Ramen Square is located on the third floor of the AreAreA2 building near the Tachikawa Station's South Exit. Once you step in, you'll notice that the whole floor is a NY Times Square-themed ramen food court!
The ramen joints are known to be all very good, but this is a ramen battle of some sorts. So you be the judge and decide which one is the best!
The 7 Shops
Each shop has its own specialty dish. Prices are all under 1,200 yen. You'll have to come back a couple of times to taste them all to decide the winner!
Men Dining Sora
Men Dining Sora mixes new-style ramen with traditional taste. It has uses chuka soba (chinese-style soba).
Jinanbou
Jinanbou has some great soy-sauce tonkatsu that can be made either light or rich.
Goku
Goku is a place specializing in the Kyushu Hakata ramen. The soup is made from the broth of pig head! Might sound a bit strange but it has a lot of collagen and tastes great!
Gokujoe
Gokujoe is has an interesting menu. Try the above tsukemen (dipping noodles). The soup is rich and has a yuzu taste that adds a nice fresh accent.
Yukiriya
Yukiriya has ramen with thick flavors made in chicken and pork broth soups.
Ebisu
Ebisu has Hokkaido style ramen! You get two cubes of butter in your soup for an extra rich flavor!
Ramen David
Ramen David by famous chef David Ito has some nice variety of ramen dishes that are either soy-sauce based or lightly salted.
