This small restaurant serves quite arguably the very best pizza in Sapporo. Sit at the counter and you'll see your pizza being prepared in the kiln right in front of you. The crust is thin at the center and thick and soft around the edges which makes an interesting contrast in texture. The simple margarita is irresistible with its perfect balance of mozzarella cheese and basil. You can also have some "Japanese pizzas" such as a pizza with shirasu (baby sardines) as a topping. This place has rave reviews and is not exactly a well-kept secret. If you go during peak hours, you may have to wait in line.

This is another outstanding pizzeria in Sapporo. You have lots of choices to choose from and the toppings are rather generous. The crust is Roman style, which means it's on the crispy side. There are some interesting side menu items to choose from as well. Try their delicious carpaccio. You can pair your pizza with a glass of wine or even Japanese sake! It has a relaxing ambiance that could be suitable for a date.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is a classic American chain with restaurants and delivery points all across Sapporo so it's quite easy to find one near you. Although you think you might know Pizza Hut's menu by heart, there are some local adaptations, like the Seafood Mix, the Super Korean Purukogi, and the potato pizza.

This space happens to also be a hostel, with two addresses in Hokkaido. So if you're in town for a little bit and you're looking to meet fun, like-minded people, this is a great place to stop by for a pizza, and make friends!
The pizza is delicious and the staff is super friendly!
