Mickey House Cafe
Located in Takadanobaba where there is a large student population, Mickey House Cafe has been operating for over 30 years. It is only at a 4 minute walk from the Takadanobaba Station The concept is to provide a place where Japanese people can practice talking in a foreign language with native speakers of that language.
The place has an at-home kind of atmosphere. You can relax and have friendly conversations with the other customers and friendly staff about language, social issues or any other topics that comes up. People of all ages and nationalities come here, so conversations can be really interesting!
For foreigners, the entrance fee is only 500 yen with no time limit. While you're there, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink hot coffee and tea!
You can also order alcoholic beverages too! Wine is 500 yen. Cocktails and beers are from 500 yen.
For Japanese people looking for the chance to talk in a foreing language, the price is 1,900 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for students. You can also join a beginner's foreign language table for the same price if you want. There is a schedule for numerous languages.
