All the Flavours of Thailand at "Kaffir Lime", Omotesando

If you've ever traveled to Thailand, you'll likely have vivid memories of the people, places, and the beautiful cuisine! Now let's be honest, every now and then you'll crave a yummy green curry or some delicious pad Thai (extra chili!). Kaffir Lime in the streets behind Omotesando will 110% fill that void!

Delicious Thai Food near Harajuku, Tokyo

I lived and traveled my way through Thailand, tasted the true flavours of the cuisine in many different regions, from the very southern islands to the lush and mountainess villages in the north and onto the golden triangle. I love Thai food and am always on the hunt for new places to try. I came across this little rustic place when walking the back streets of Omotesando.
About a couple minutes walk from Meijijingu-mae station Kaffir Lime is my go-to Thai restaurant in the Harajuku, Omotesando area. It's even pretty close to Shibuya too. Open for lunch and dinner you can easily grab a decent meal for around 1500 yen! Though nothing close to actual Thailand prices, its definitely worth the money for authentic Thai food in the heart of Tokyo.

My Top 3 Dishes!

The Thai green curry is a super popular item here. It's without a doubt my top recommendation!
No.2 would have to Pad Thai. Always a favourite!
Somtam (Spicy papaya salad) is also a brilliant dish to accompany your meal. This dish packs a punch!

Other great dishes to try!

The crab curry is a good choice to share with friends!
For those that want something spicy with the full flavours of chili and basil, gapao is a top pick.
If you've never had Thai food before, try Kuay Tiaw (noodle soup). It has a great flavour and some delicious toppings!
Another great typical Thai dish, which is aplenty in Thailand, is spicy morning glory!

Singha Beer!

And for nostalgia reasons only (just kidding) pop open a couple of Singha Beers to accompany a terrific mealtime!
