Outback Steakhouse: A Place To Chill And Satisfy Your Hunger!

The place is Australian-themed but the company is from Tampa, Florida, and the food is closer to American cuisine. This place is quite popular with the Japanese and foreigners alike. Outback Steakhouse Japan

Outback Steakhouse currently has nine restaurants in Japan, 5 of which are in Tokyo. The place has a very laid-back, bar-like atmosphere and the staff is friendly. It's a place where you can unwind with friends and have a great time while drinking and eating.


The place famous for steak but you'll find many other choices on the menu as well. Note that the beef comes from Australia or the US, the pork ribs come from France, the lamb from New Zealand and the Chicken and most of the vegetables from Japan. Below are some of the most popular menu items in Japan.


For the dinner time, you can get prime ribs the way you like them the best by selecting a cooking style. You can have them either seared, flame-grilled or original style. 250 g cuts for 3,700 yen. They are cooked at a low temperature for 4 hours, which makes them extra succulent and tasty!
Grilled to perfection, baby back ribs have a tangy BBQ sauce! They are one of the most popular items and are served with fries and cole slaw. Price is 2,580 yen.
The above 200 g Outback special is served with either a la carte (2,840 yen), with grilled shrimps (3,510 yen) or baby back ribs (3,630 yen).


This is the must-try appetizer. The bloomin' onion (1,240 yen) is hand-carved and cooked until golden. There is a rich dipping sauce that goes wonderfully well with the fried onion sticks!


Their signature Queensland salad (1,690 yen) with chicken, onions, and mixed greens.


All kinds of drinks and beverages are available, including Outback specialty cocktails at around 900 yen. You get free refills for the spirit free cocktails!

Kid's Menu

They also have a kid's menu. The mac'n cheese is a popular choice at 630 yen.


Want some really rich and sweet desserts to finish a meal? If so, have some of their popular ice cream. The chocolate thunder from down under (840 yen) is a chocolate pecan brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. The cinnamon oblivion (920 yen) is topped with cinnamon apples and toffee sauce.
