A Local's Guide to Italian Restaurants in Ebisu

Ebisu

Ebisu is heaven in terms of food diversity and food quality! You can find any type of food you fancy in this awesome neighborhood. The best part is that although it's a fancy neighborhood, the price range is also diverse. You can find cheap eats that are out of this world, and there are also unforgettable sushi restaurants (but be prepared to pay the price)! Here, we narrowed down the best Italian restos in Ebisu! We ranked them from cheapest to most expensive.

Feel free to follow favy!

L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele

If you are looking for authentic Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place. It's unpretentious and welcoming. Do you remember the movie "Eat, Pray, Love"? Well, that pizzeria was featured in the movie, and now it is available in Tokyo and in Fukuoka.
There are two types of pizzas to choose from; Margherita or Marinara. Sometimes too much is like not enough, but here things are kept simple so you can just sit back and enjoy the pizza!

Lunch is between ¥1,000~¥1,999 and dinner is between¥2,000~¥2,999.

Partenope

Partenope is about a 5-minute walk from Ebisu station.
The restaurant is also spot-on in terms of authenticity, even my Italian friends raved about this place! This restaurant is approved by the Japanese Neapolitan association in terms of pizza quality, so you know this place is good!
The appetizers here are out of this world, and of course so is the Neapolitan pizza, you cannot not order it!

Lunch is ¥1,000~¥1,999, and dinner is ¥5,000~¥5,999.

Medusa

Medusa is a stone throw away from Ebisu station. This Italian restaurant is famous for its atmosphere, more specifically, the fact that there are jellyfish tanks. It makes for a really special and unique ambiance.
This restaurant specializes in sea food and charcoal grill. You should definitely try the oyster plate! The gorgonzola gnocchi was also worth the try! Also, the Japanese beef filet & foie gras is a dish you should try!

DELIZIOSO ITALIA

Delizioso Italia is about a 5 minute from Ebisu station. If you want a real Italian trattoria, this place is it. The food here is fresh and delicious, yet simple.
You definitely need to book if you want to stop by for lunch!
Lunch sets are between ¥1,250-2,200..., but the portions are generous!! I tried the pizza, and it was so amazing!

Dinner is between ¥6,000~¥7,999

La Bisboccia

La Bisboccia is an authentic Italian eatery, from the decoration to the food, you'll feel as though you are in Italy the time of a meal. The food and quality here are really great here so you can't go wrong. Even for a business encounter, this place is quite nice since it's quiet. The restaurant is actually closer to Hiroo station, but it is also walking distance from Ebisu station.
The wine selection is good, but in doubt, you can ask the friendly staff for recommendations.
Please note that no one under 16 years old can enter the resto from Monday to Friday, and no one under 7 on Saturdays & National Holidays.

Dinner here is between ¥10,000~¥14,999

Bistro CarneSio

What you must try there is the grilled meat. Slowly cooked over charcoal heat, the meat is salted a first time with a strong-tasting Italian salt, and a second time with a milder slightly sweetened French salt just before being taken off the grill.

They also serve some simple yet incredibly delicious charcoal-cooked bread with smoked butter, and their pasta made with A5 ranked wagyu beef is not bad at all either!
